Obama's Presidential Bibliotheque is triggered by the idea of creating an everlasting architecture by its powerful presence and massice structure. Located in Chicago, IL, there is also an urban approach by trying to improve the pedestrian circulation of the area of intervention.

 

Fragmented in 4 volumes soported by concrete walls that create the gathering space inbetween the canyons. The most public volume is casted in the ground, 2 semi-public program volumes are floating over an open covered plaza and, finally, the archieves are suspended from these canyons, becoming a symbolic gesture.
